Photography matters. Photographic images can move us to laughter or tears. They can be an instrument of change, an invitation to explore and they can shed light on injustice. They reveal beauty and emotion in ways both subjective and objective.
This is a call for images that celebrate the Pinelands National Reserve and reveal a wilderness that is largely hidden in the mostly densely populated state in the nation.
Black and white and color images taken within the boundaries of the National Reserve depicting its landscape, flora, wildlife, communities and people will be accepted. The exhibit will hang in the newly renovated barn at the PPA Headquarters in Southampton, New Jersey.
Submission Categories are:
- People in Nature
- Communities in the Pine Barrens (including Architecture)
- Open Student (up to age 22)
Submit up to 3 images for $25 and $5 for each additional image up to a maximum of ten total submissions.
Student (22 years of age and under) entries are FREE. Must provide proof of current student status. Email a copy of your student ID with submission.
